The Human Augmentation and Interactive Robotics team (HAIR) of Queen Mary University of London, is an internationally leading research group with expertise in human-machine interaction and human-centred robotics.

Led by Dr Ildar Farkhatdinov, Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London; HAIR pursue applications in assistive technologies, virtual reality and telerobotics.

We are a multi-disciplinary group with significant knowledge in the design and control of mechatronic systems (haptics, human-machine interfaces, remotely controlled robots, wearable robots) and human-sensory science (neuromechanics, perception, ergonomics).

We are part of the Centre for Advanced Robotics @ Queen Mary University of London (ARQ) and the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.
